10+ therapy episodes shrink in 2008
The percentage of cases in which 10 or more therapy visits are expected at the start of care dropped to 39% in March 2008, from 44% in December 2007. That's a "relatively quick change," even though the industry anticipated a shift in therapy trends after the Jan. 1 2008 PPS implementation.
