Stanley Nachimson is a leading voice in the health care IT industry. He served for years as the Senior Technical Advisor for Health IT activities at CMS. Ronald Sterling is a nationally recognized expert on the selection, implementation and use of electronic medical record and healthcare billing systems. He has analyzed health care software products from over 150 vendors as well as developed business and information strategies to improve profits, business operations, and services for healthcare organizations and physician practices in 35 states. Mr. Mark Anderson is one of the nation's premier IT research futurists dedicated to health care. He is one of the leading national speakers on healthcare and physician practices and has spoken at more than 450 conferences and meetings since 2000. He has spent the last 37+ years focusing on healthcare – not just technology questions, but strategic, policy, and organizational considerations. For the past eight years, Mr. Anderson has spent the majority of time in the evaluation, selection, and ranking of vendors in the PM/EHR healthcare marketplace and during those years has published a semiannual report on the Digital Medical Office of the Future. His EHR evaluation decision tool has been used by more than 25,000 physicians since 2002.
Maria Freidman, D.B.A., is a national expert on e-prescribing and a wide range of other health information technology (HIT) policy and implementation issues. Her consulting firm provides services related to health policy and analysis, strategic management and positioning, federal affairs, and marketing. She is a former CMS senior advisor. Dr. Freidman provided expert advice to CMS and HHS on HIPAA transactions and code sets, e-prescribing, and HIT issues, including standards, outreach, privacy, and implementation. Dr. Friedman has held many other senior positions within CMS and at the federal Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, including serving as public affairs director for both agencies. She holds a master's degree in journalism and a doctorate in business administration, with concentrations in management and strategy. 
James Tate brings a unique combination of skills to the eHealth field. His direct experience encompasses both clinical and technological environments. He is an experienced project manager in the implementation of both EHR and practice management systems and has led numerous implementations in the United States, as well as China. Jim founded and serves as President of EMR Advocate, LLC which provides extensive consulting services to EMR vendors, developers and other stakeholders in the Health Information Technology industry. EMR Advocate has actively supported more than 40 Ambulatory and Inpatient EHR vendors in their CCHIT Certification projects since 2006.
Carolyn P. Hartley is President and CEO of Physicians EHR, Inc, a company that educates and serves as physician/clinic advocate, managing the EHR implementation process. She and her EHR project management team oversee the complex paper to paperless migration for clinics in 17 states, and also serve as EHR technical advisor to national and state medical societies and quality improvement organizations. She also served on the Technical Advisory Panel for the Health Information Security and Privacy Collaborative (HISPC), funded by the Office of the National Coordinator (ONC). She is co-author of more than a dozen books on privacy, security and EHR adoption for the AMA, ADA, and specialty societies.
