Judy Yost received her B.S. Degree at Wilkes College and her M.A. in hospital management from Central Michigan University. She is an American Society for Clinical Pathology certified Medical Technologist. She was the administrative director of progressively larger clinical labs and other clinical services in health systems prior to joining CMS. Judy is currently the Director of the Division of Laboratory Services, the division that is responsible for the oversight and administration of the CLIA program. Her duties include approval and oversight of accrediting organizations, exempt states and PT programs; among others. Judy has made numerous public presentations, received awards, is a member of professional societies, committees and boards and has published several articles on laboratory quality oversight.

Ms. Johnson is the Education & Curriculum Specialist for COLA’s Educational Services Division. In addition to developing educational products and LabUniversity online education courses in lab practices and quality management systems, Cathy is Education Program Director for the Symposium for Clinical Labs. Cathy graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore with a B.S. in Medical Technology, and recently earned a Masters of Arts in Instructional Systems Development from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). Her primary focus is on developing educational programs for the adult learner.
