It’s a fact – denial rates and repayment demands for services your physicians do at inpatient settings are much higher than for services you do in the office.

New discharge day management services billing rules from CMS can help clarify your billing, but only if you know how to do it right. Expert presenter Dianne Wilkinson of West Tennessee Healthcare will bring her over 40 years of experience to this 90-minute session and tell you what you need to know about these new rules.

She won’t stop there. Dianne will also give you time-tested strategies to help your doctors better document inpatient E/M services and ensure your practice bills these services right the first time and gets this much needed revenue.

Dianne will give you:

  • A complete run-down of just-released CMS guidance for billing discharge day management services.
  • Solutions to get your doctors to document hospital E/M services appropriately.
  • Suggestions for pre-printed forms to help with E/M documentation.
  • The headings your doctors need on every hospital consult and history exam.
  • How to make sure your doctors are able to bill for the comprehensive inpatient services they deliver.
  • How to document the work done … what to say and what NOT to say.
