Prior to that, she worked for the Joint Commission in Oakbrook Terrace, Ill, marketing the organization’s accreditation programs and disease specific care certification programs.  She also served as director of marketing for an academic medical center in Chicago and served in a variety of marketing roles while at the American Hospital Association.
