Announcements
DecisionHealth's HIPAA Compliance Alert newsletter is no longer being published, as of July 1, 2008. Active subscribers have been converted to our new compliance publication, the Compliance Officer's Report, with expanded content.
The C.O.'s Report will continue to provide readers with the latest information and guidance on the HIPAA privacy, security and electronic transactions rules. But in addition, the new newsletter will offer fuller, richer coverage of compliance-related topics subscribers have told us they need to assist them in their compliance duties, particularly in the area of operational compliance. This includes topics such as education and training, selection and use of EMRs, regulatory issues with FLSA and EMTLA, business ethics and salary information, patient satisfaction and quality and informed consent.
DecisionHealth is constantly asking for and receiving feedback from our readers and other professionals in the fields we cover as to how we can improve our offerings and provide the best, most relevant news and guidance available. The more we spoke with our HIPAA Compliance Alert subscribers, the more we heard that they need help on more varied topics related to overall compliance at their organizations. Hence the conversion to the Compliance Officer's Report.
